Job Summary:
The UHS Southern California Regional office in Temecula, CA is seeking a Full-Time System Medical Staff/Credentialing Coordinator. This position has work from home/hybrid options and will be responsible for:
?? Processing credentialing and re-credentialing applications for health care providers.
?? Mails, reviews, and verifies credentialing applications. Sets up and maintains provider information in an online credentialing database system.
?? Tracks license and certification expirations for all providers to ensure timely renewals.
Qualifications
Experience/Training/Experience:
?? High School Graduate or equivilent required.
?? Associate??s degree from an accredited College or University in related field preferred.
?? Two (2) to Three (3) years of experience in credentialing or relatable experience required, acute care experience preferred.
Certifications/Licenses:
?? Certification through NAMSS (National Association of Medical Staff Services) as Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) and/or Certified Medical Staff Coordinator (CMSC) required within three (3) years of hire date.
