Functional Software Tester

Description:
? SureCost is seeking a skilled Functional Software Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
? The ideal candidate will have experience in software functional testing practices, developing test plans, and conducting regression testing.
? The role requires strong analytical skills and knowledge of agile principles to support the continuous improvement of our technology solutions.
? Develop and execute functional test plans to validate software functionality and performance.
? Conduct regression testing to identify potential issues before software releases.
? Utilize Postman for API testing and SQL for data validation and verification.
? Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure software meets business requirements.
? Apply agile testing methodologies to support the software development lifecycle.
? Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution.
? Contribute to test automation efforts where applicable.

Requirements: ? Strong understanding of functional software testing principles and best practices. ? Experience developing and executing test plans. ? Proficiency in Postman for API testing. ? Knowledge of SQL for querying databases and verifying test data. ? Familiarity with regression testing techniques. ? Understanding of agile development methodologies. ? Experience testing applications built with React. ? Knowledge of LLMs like ChatGPT and related AI tools for analyzing requirements and/or developing test plans. ? A Huge Plus If You Have: ? Experience in pharmacy systems or inventory management solutions. ? Exposure to automated testing frameworks and tools. ? Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a distributed team.
