About the position
The Associate Director-Software Development at Verizon is responsible for leading and managing Call Center and Store applications within the Value business. Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Call Center and Store applications in the Value business.

Coach and mentor a highly motivated team to deliver high-quality products and services.

Partner with business units to establish goals and communicate the vision set by senior leadership.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver business value through the Northstar Architecture tech stack.

Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise on complex projects across multiple channels.

Lead the Center of Excellence for Call Center and store channels, delivering end-to-end solutions for Sales and Service flows.

Manage relationships with vendors to improve quality and reliability of products and services.

Establish objectives and create road maps to align with business partners and stakeholders.

Drive DevOps implementation and manage the delivery of projects within budget and time constraints.

Analyze market and technology trends to identify growth opportunities and recommend process improvements.
Requirements
Eight or more years of relevant experience in software development or related fields.

Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience in a relevant area.
,
Advanced experience in Software Development and technology leadership.
,
Experience in managing and motivating large technical teams.
,
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver large-scale technical projects.
,
Demonstrated experience in partnering with Business and IT teams to drive alignment and delivery.
Nice-to-haves
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
