Home-Style Dog Boarding, Mini Farm & Airbnb Assistant
About the Gig
Hey there! We run a unique, small-scale dog boarding biz right out of our own home, and we’re on the hunt for a friendly, flexible helper who loves dogs as much as we do. On top of hanging out with our playful pups, you’ll get to help out on our mini farm and jump in to clean up our Airbnb between guest stays. If you're looking for a hands-on gig that's anything but a typical desk job, keep reading!
What You’ll Be Up To
- Dog Boarding
- Caring for the Canines: Feed, walk, and play with our furry guests while keeping a close, loving eye on them.
- Grooming & Cleaning: Help keep the dog areas spick and span—from tidying up after playtime to giving basic departure baths.
- Chatting with Pet Parents: Share fun stories and updates with pet parents so they know their fur babies are in good hands.
- Social Media Posts: Help us keep our Facebook, Insta, and TikTok buzzing with cute and fun canine content.
- Mini Farm Fun
- Animal TLC: Lend a hand feeding, watering, and caring for our mini farm animals—whether it’s chickens, goats, or even horses.
- Farm Chores: Handle everyday tasks like cleaning enclosures, collecting eggs, and generally keeping the mini farm running smoothly.
- Outdoor Projects: Pitch in with gardening or other seasonal outdoor tasks as they pop up.
- Airbnb Flips
- Cleaning Between Guests: Jump in to get our Airbnb looking cozy and guest-ready by dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing, and restocking supplies.
- Who We’re Looking ForWe need someone who:
- Loves dogs and is cool with the ups and downs of pet care.
- Isn’t afraid to get their hands a little dirty—whether that means playing with pups or tackling a farm project.
- Has a bit of experience with pet care, animal handling, or cleaning (it’s a bonus, not a must!).
- Is dependable, upbeat, and ready to dive into a day full of surprises.
Heads up: This gig is run right out of our home—it's not your typical dog boarding setup. It’s very small scale, so you’ll be working quite independently with our dogs and other animals. That means you might not get the daily banter with coworkers of a typical kennel job, but if you love animals, it’s super rewarding getting to know our regulars and building relationships with the pups.
Sound like your kind of gig? We’d love to hear from you!
