We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Remote Word Processing Clerk / Data Entry Typist. This entry-level role involves typing and formatting documents, entering data into systems, and assisting with simple word processing tasks. No previous experience is required—just basic typing and computer skills.
- Responsibilities:
- Type and format letters, reports, and other documents
- Enter text and data into templates, spreadsheets, or forms
- Proofread documents for basic grammar and formatting errors
- Save and organize files according to company guidelines
- Perform light editing or retyping of scanned or handwritten material
- Follow written instructions carefully
- Communicate with team members via email or chat as needed
- Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic typing skills (30–40 words per minute)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word or Google Docs
- Basic computer literacy and email communication
- Good attention to detail and spelling
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Reliable internet connection and access to a computer
