Job description: As the Payroll Manager you will lead a Payroll Associate and ensure all payroll tasks are completed timely and accurately for Four Seasons Produce Inc., Sunrise Transport Inc., Sunrise Logistics Inc., and Earth Source Inc.

The ideal candidate must be highly detail oriented, manage effective internal partnerships, keep the business at the forefront of legislative changes affecting payroll policies and practices, and effectively manage projects.

What you get to do
?? Lead 1 Payroll associate
?? Oversee and assist with bi-weekly payroll processing
?? Review accuracy of wages, taxes, benefits, deductions, etc.
?? Collaborate with Human Resources on payroll related projects, deductions, benefits, etc.
?? Manage and maintain the timekeeping system
?? Manage payroll projects and manage payroll related continuous improvement efforts
?? Review quarterly payroll taxes
?? Process annual W-2s
?? Maintain payroll processes and procedures and adhere to and enforce all policies
?? Comply with federal, state, and local legislation and requirements and stay abreast on changes
?? Assist with collecting data for workers compensation, 401k, and financial audits
?? Facilitate audits and report on findings
?? Identify learning and development opportunities and resources for Payroll group
?? Maintain a high level of employee confidence and confidentiality at all times

What you??ll bring
?? CCP Certification required
?? Bachelor??s Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Accounting, or related field preferred
?? Prior experience managing Payroll related projects and lean initiatives preferred
?? UltiPro experience preferred, payroll management system experience required
?? Exceptional attention to detail and confidentiality
