Beginning in 1981, Clanton & Associates has combined design and technical excellence in lighting and electrical systems for transportation, urban environments, master planning, civic, academic, and daylighting projects. We work in a hybrid mode between our office in north Boulder, CO and from home.

POSITION SUMMARY

Clanton is growing! We are adding a part time CADD Technician to our dynamic team in Boulder, CO in a short-term or long-term position. You will be responsible for helping produce accurate drawings, layouts, maps, designs, graphic renderings, and other tasks as needed to support our Architecture + Planning & Policy and Transportation + Urban Design studios.

AVAILABLE POSITION

Part-Time Position, flexible schedule up to 32 hours per week. If you are a student we will work with you on accommodating class schedules.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

?Contribute to plans, details and diagrams for a wide variety of lighting and electrical projects using AutoCAD, MicroStation and Revit.

?Use and develop graphic standards.

?Develop skills toward performing quality control reviews of drawings and documents.

?Coordinate and communicate with Project Managers and Designers in a team-based environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS

?Long-term career objective specifically in CADD and demonstrated current CADD skills.

?Holding or pursuing an Associate of Applied Science Degree or Certificate in CADD with at least one completed AutoCAD course.

?Interest and aptitude in quickly self-learning new software.

?Professional written and verbal communication skills, and active listening skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS

?Software: Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Bluebeam Revu, Geographical Information Systems (GIS)

?Other: Hand sketching, construction experience, software and hardware troubleshooting experience
